Mt. Pulaski area veterans’ groups and civic organizations will hold joint Memorial Day Observance ceremonies at the
 Veterans’ Memorial in Mt. Pulaski Cemetery and at the chapel in the Steenbergen Cemetery.


Mt. Pulaski Cemetery Memorial Day Ceremonies:

Time:

 10 am on Monday, 31 May

Place:

 Veterans’ Memorial in the Mt. Pulaski Cemetery

Welcome:

 American Legion Commander, Stan Manes - Master of Ceremonies

Address:

 Lt. Col. Steven Homes, Ret., USMC – Veteran of Iraq Invasion

Benediction & Invocation:

 J. T. Thomason – Youth Minister for the Mt. Pulaski Christian Church

Music:

 Mt. Pulaski HS Band under direction of Jamie Ernst

Presentations:

 Civic organizations will lie wreathes at the memorial, followed by
 the traditional presentation of flowers by local children
